My shettie was diognosed with cushings late nov last year, and although the insurance are paying out for my claim untill the 12 months are up. Obviously once that is up cushings will then be excluded on my insurance for him, the problem with cushings is it can cause a multitude of complications as the illness progresses so I am told.
Is it worth continuing with illness cover after the 12 months as I was told the insurance will blaim a lot of illnesses on his cushings from now on and refuse to pay out. I am thinking about just covering him for acidental injury on the vetinary side of his insurance.
Does anybody have any experience with their insurance and any further illness claims after a diognoses of cushings, thanks in advance.
