Insurance and PC insurance

Hi all basicly my insurance is coming to an end, its EandL and luckily i havnt had to claim! (I didnt realise that they were bad till after id taken it out)
Anayway im going to change companies when its the end of the poilcy. But my daughters just joined to PC and its her pony. But im a dyslexic and struggle to read 'the small print' so just wondered if anybody could explain to me in normal english what im covered for through the PC and what i need to get on the new policy? From what i can gather its basicly 3rd party thats covered? So i would still need personal accident cover for my daughter, vets fees and also if he had to be PTS.
Any help greatly recieved.

Yes you're right - PC insurance provides personal liability cover against injury or damage to other people or property, so you would need another policy for the other things you mention.
(BTW I use E&L for my dogs & horses and have not had a problem with claiming, except payment can take a while).

Thanks thats great!!! Really TBH ive heard some horror strories on here but also know quite a few that have had problems and was going to stay with them but then my vet was telling me the other day about when he had a horse that needed to be PTS EanL insisited that you rang them before euthanasia was done and in some cases asked for a second vet present to see if euthenasia was nessary?!! How true i dont know but TBH the bad stories have out weighed the good ones. I think im going to go onto an insurence that you can pick the different sections you do/dont need ie no 3rd party insurance.
