Insurance Emporium users - Stupid question

I am putting in babie's first vet fees claim and vet has just messaged "can you check this all gets submitted together, sometimes I need to do it twice" and now I'm confused.

So while I wait for a response from customer service, can any Insurance Emporium customers tell me if my vet compiles history etc sends it back to me and all the info goes off together or if I submit my claims form first and the vet sends direct?

It’s the same with any insurance company.

They will need the completed claims form and the vet history sent together ideally.

It doesn’t actually matter who sends it, mostly depends on the vets procedure.

I think from memory I filled in the forms and sent to my vet, who then sent it across to insurance emporium with all the info from their end. But yeah best to check with the vets.

I have done ( sadly, multiple times) exactly as ponyparty says

One thing we had as well was that we’d had flu & tets done by two different practices so they asked for full medical history from both. It didn’t cause a problem btw, but just something to be mindful of if you’ve ever done that!

Hmm, she did have an emergency callout for colic and a different practise was doing the shared emergency calls. My vet did the follow up tho so hopefully no issue there?

Anyway, I did what my vet told me to do and sent the forms, referring them back to her for the history direcy. If they want to yell at me for that they can go ahead, I do what my vet says in all arenas
