Depends whether you are the main driver. The quote for my 19yo daughter to be insured on a 3.5tonner with me as main driver was £330 with NFU.

When my friend was under 21 they found that Anthony Evans gave the most reasonable quote - that was for the policy to be in her dad's name with her and her sister as named drivers.

If you are the main driver, putting an experienced driver on as named driver may lower your premium, also limiting your mileage could get a better price, mostly, shop around

I've had the same problem recently but I am 24. My friends said Anthony Evans were meant to be good, but ive just got mine through KBIS for 260 fully comp, may be worth a go.

I hope you find somewhere, the only other thing is put a parent/partner on it to lower the premium.

Please note if you do put an older person on, you will need to have the vehicle registered to them. It canbe dodgy ground legally without- well it can even with but you are in a much stronger position of the vehicle belongs to the primary named driver.
