Insurance for companion lou horses

Does anyone have any recommendations.?
He is out with several other horses none are ridden most are yearlings and all owned by same person.He will be lou and non ridden although he is walked out in hand round the village so will need some public liability.It might be more economical to have joint policy for group of horses. Any ideas thanks

I wonder if they do a group policy for non ridden horses.I wondered if there was a policy that covered 6 plus horses and if it might be cheaper than insuring individually .
 
lol its me probably didnt explain properly as I dont want to bore you all with details.
He has gone to lovely home with lady who has other rescues and she is happy to insure him but neither of us has insured lou before.I am going to gift him to her so he has long and happy retirement (hes only 8 but has been plagued with bad luck and injuries).There must be a policy that covers horses out to pasture (non ridden) that will give a better quote for multiple horses rather than single horse policy .Does that make sense its been a long day lol
 
When I looked into it for my retired horses they didnt do a group policy. NFU have a minimum value policy of £500. This gives you public liability and cover for death by accident or theft. I am not sure of the individual amounts per horse as I have another pony and trailer insured but 3 horses (one not retired and a higher value) and a trailer is about £25 a month. I think the trailer is more to insure than the oldies!

They offered the best policy at the time.
 
That sounds reasonable.Ill pass this on and make a phone call .I wont recommend the company he was insured with as they are so long winded paying out.(say no more you all know who I am refering to
