hi there...

my trailers are covered by my business insurance whilst i'm towing.. NFU

but if they are hired out to Joe Public, then it's the responsibility of the hirer to get the relevent insurance, of which proof is required as part of my T & C's of hire.

Hi thanks for the reply, i know it is the responsibility of the hirer to get insurance but i know most companies don't cover for hire and reward, which technically it is as, although i wouldn't transport horses, i would be accepting payment for the use of the trailer. I can't insure with MFU as i am under 25.

They don't do it! I'm starting to wonder if you have to have it? I know that sounds daft but like i say i know it's the responsibility of the hirer to get insurance so do you just insure it yourself for theft? Obviously it's insured on my car if i am towing...so.....? Someone must do it surley?!?!?
