I have just bought a horse with a low grade heart murmur and I would like to insure for public liability and vets fees (obviously not relating to murmur/ heart conditions). One insurance co wouldn't insure any horse with a murmur - anyone have a horse insured with a murmur? If so can you let me know company and any requirements?
I didn't have the horse vetted but he had failed the previous vetting with another buyer, I had him checked by vet and he explained particulars - also purchased horse at fraction of original sale price. Vet says likely it won't ever bother him.
