Never really had much to do with horse insurance, my mum sorted it. But seen as this little chap is my project just need some advice on who's best to insure with, who's worst, who do I avoid, cover etc. Hes just turning 1 so I presume it's different to insuring an older one that competes?

Just insured my 11 month old filly with KBIS, very helpful staff, good cover and price.

Previously done 25 years with NFU who were superb, but are now pricing themselves out of the market. ie, filly with NFU with a loyalty bonus discount, insured for £1000 market value and £5000 vet bills - £600. With KBIS same spec but much better cover on claims policy - £247.00

Yes asha it is!! I can't wait to bring him home. The stud has agreed to keep him for a few weeks to get him gelded and recovered then he's all mine.
I'll get my laptop out later and check out kbis, thanks guys x
