But who would you recomend as good value for money... ie... doesn't break the bank and yet does pay out when needed?

NFU. Don't recommend the one ending in L

I use KBIS and they have always been great and paid out on v accident prone ex-racehorse

Second the comments about the one that ends with L!

I've heard very good things about NFU. Wouldn't recommend SEIB.

Have never had any problems with NFU.

I use AIMS and would recommend them. Always been very friendly and efficient, and paid out quickly directly to vet when I had to make a claim.

I've just done my 2 with NFU, but what is wrong with SEIB?

We're with SEIS (now part of Allianz Cornhill) and they were great with a big claim last year.
