Hi everyone,

Hoping you can recommend some good cover for going hunting abroad? Just for me, hunting a hireling in Ireland. Leaving the question a bit broad as I am not sure what kind of cover I need - medical, accident, dental, repatriation, life insurance? HELP!

Thanks,

Clara

Are you a member of the Countryside Alliance, as they offer insurance as part of membership.

This insurance covers most of the above, but would check with them if it applies when travelling.

If not I would speak to the people you are arranging your visit through....

I guess after some thought I am looking for travel insurance - however, although I have searched on policies that cover high risk sports, hunting doesn't tend to feature in the sports covered. I guess I will have to call up a couple of companies and see what they suggest...

I think I have found something suitable - through a company called Sportscover Direct. Didn't even have to call up and speak to a human...
