Insurance renewal - I am amazed

Dispite two large claims in the last year I was unsurprised to see that my premium has gone up to just under £400 it has one horse and one trailer on it so I wasn't all that unhappy...... however, I was looking at the exclusions, and apart from the new wording there is nothing.... nada, diddily squat

Yeah but new wording on NFU insurance basically says that any injury/ailment your horse has ever suffered from in the past, whether claimed for or not is excluded. No chance to remove exclusions if there's been no recurrence of the injury/accident after a year etc. Just everything excluded. Everything. So I've moved mine, as with NFU there was nothing left of him to insure and with other companies he was insurable as they were over 12 months ago.

Just got a letter through from NFU re my horses (3) all NFU horse policies are changing to exclude any previous probs. May consider changing now or not bothering to insure.
