Insurance... so pricey!! Cheapest options??

Im insuring my new boy and have found insurance prices have gone up!!!
I've recieved quotes for £55+ per month
Does anyone know if this is reasonable/good/bad or could recommend some good insurer's?? Iv used petplan in the past but there're coming in with a quote at £75 pm....
Im concerned as i want to have some of the extras like tack, full amount for vet's bills, Public liability etc but it seems sooooo expensive?!

Or is this just another expensive horse cost!! What with this and the price of hay i'll be broke before the winters out!

We go with NFU, they might not be the cheapest, but when push comes to shove and you really need them they do pay out. We have taken loss of use off our policies and that has made them alot cheaper. We just want the insurance for vets bills.
