Hi I've had my renewal from NFU come through for this year for two horses it comes to £98 a month!
One horse is 18 now so I guess veteran?
The other is 13/14...
I cannot understand why it's so expensive I will call NFU asap to discuss with them but I'm thinking I will at least change the younger horse to a different company.
I've heard KBIS and Petplan pay out and this is clearly the important bit so opinions on which company to go with would be great KBIS about £50 ish a month for the two horses and Petplan is just a bit more at £55 ish. (I'm not sure about some of the options so may tweek before taking out the insurance.
I may also keep my older horse with NFU and just move the younger one as she's been with them since I've had her and they will cover for sickness and injury.... If I move her they may not have such good cover...
So any opinions on good insurance companies please and WWYD in my situation? Confused as to what's best!
