Hi guys, im insured with petplan but would like to up his insurance value,nyone ever done this or know how I go about it?

anything over £5000 will need a 5* vetting and any proof you have of comp's . i'm with petplan and they were quite keen wheni insured jack as i was insureing him for more than i payed for him. i just said that wheni bought him he was a green 4 year old and hes now a 11 year old grade B showjumper. printed off a bsja record and got a 5* vetting and sent it off.

hi I sent the a 5* when I first applied he he is with them for 5250 but has done so much now and feel he is worth more...

the 5* vetting cant be over 6 months old. so you might have to get another one done. also find a horse for sale thats similar to yours in age, height, breed , what they've done. and send that to prove that if god forsake anything happend to your horse that you would have to pay x amount to get a similar horse.

i have started gathering info on similar horses, ill carry on, print off a bsja record and see what they say! thanks!
