i've just received my renewal for Dragon and it's gone up £60 dispite me not claiming etc

So... now the shopping around starts!

Have you been back to the insurer and asked why and asked if they can do anything? Always worth a try. Our claim free renewals generate automatically on a system as they have no reason to be stopped and reviewed so this could be a case with yours and any premium increases will have automatically be picked up.

I would ring your insurer and see if they can reduce it. I do that every year with my car insurance! Honestly, if you don't ask you don't get. Us insurers want to keep the good, claim free risks after all!!

I was with KBIS last year, but my premium increased by about that amount despite no claims etc too, so I shopped around too

Petplan for one. E&L for the other. Need to change the E&L one to NFU but never get round to making the phonecall.

NFU and I have found them to be very good, had a few smallish claims and they've always paid promptly with no fuss.

I am with AIMs thankfully I have not had to claim with them yet, but have been told they are very good.
I also got a quote from NFU but it was much higher for more or less the same thing

i've tried calling then a million times since the quote came thru and the same drippy girl answers the phone and trells me noone who can deal with me is available and drippy girl takes my number and thats it! no call back, v annoying. grumble grumble. i'll call them again on monday...
