How much would you expect insurance to be for a 7year irish mare valued at £4.5k to do normal RC activities to be covered for vets bills, 3rd party insurance everything except LOU?

Easiest thing to do is phone NFU & some others for a quote.... ensuring that you don't bother phoning E&L

have just had a quote for mare 13 years £5000 cover plus vets fees and trailer cover , tack up to a thousand , personal liability personal accident etc it came to a smidge under £800, ..........hmm need to re mortgage me house ....

NFU - for LOA, VF & P.L approx £445 class 1 activities.

I calculate approx £467 for LOA, Theft, PL, Vets Bills (£5000), Personal Accident (£20,000) and Tack Cover (£1000). So anything between £450 to £500 I would expect from most insurers.
