I recently had the renewal for my dogs insurance with Sainsbury's the premium has gone up by over 63%!!

I have been told by them it down to age, she is 3yrs breed she is a Italian Spinone, sex, bitch, location, South Bucks, and finaly vets fees going up. I have cancelled the renewal. Can anyone recommend an insurance company for dogs please.

I use morethan for our dog think we pay about £9 a month i know it isnt much more than that, we went with them after a friend reccomended them.

I use the kennel club insurance for my dogs.. I havent had to use the for a claim yet but apparently they are really good.. Not cheap tho but they cover you for life and not just for the year.. its a nightmare tho as i did look about and then i gave in and went with the kennel club..

I use m&s with our two. Cost £110 each for the year. had a claim for one of them this year though so not sure if it will go up when i have to renew. Claim process was easy and didn't drag on.
