Sorry, I have no experience of Scottish Equestrian, but having been the victim of another well known 'cheap' insurance company, I would say you get what you pay for. NFU are excellent and well known for being uncomplicated and helpful, not to mention the fact that they pay up! Why not try other ways to keep the cost down, like reducing the value of your horse for insurance purposes etc. leaving out loss of use etc? Or have a chat with your current company to see if they can suggest any other way of keeping the cost down?

Scottish equestrian are good... underwritten by Allianz who also Underwrite Kbis and Petplan

different levels of vet fees can be opted for non vet fees which covers livery and transport and alternative therapy cover for physio. Good company.

Always check who underwrites insurance certain Insurances are another errr not very good insurance company in disguise

Scottish Equestrian is not one of them. Also Excellent customer service with people who know and understand horses
