Obviously I have my own horse insurance and my own buildings insurance for the stables but do I require additional insurance because I am 'renting' out a stable or is there a way of avoiding this?
You will need a minimum of pli. If you are going to do full livery, you will need to include Care, Custody and Control which is alot more expensive. Most insurance companies will not touch a livery yard. The only company I have been able to find is BEIB underwritten by Lloyds. Trouble is I have found them very busy and dont feel im having all my questions answered as to what im covered for. The policy is written in Vulcan so unless you have a degree in written bullsh*t it is pretty hard to decipher.
