Hi, gets lots of quotes from lots of people and be specific what you want covered and what you could possibly do without - I opted out of quite a few things this time but made sure the vets bills would be paid and make sure you know what the excess is - I saved myself nearly a hundred pound by doing this. Searched the web and magazines - I used Julie Andrews cause she tailored to my needs but in the past I used AIMS who were very good in settling a claim when my pony had laminitis.
 
I have only ever been with NFU (10 years now) and wont change. They have been great when I have had to make a claim (or two) and always seem competitive against friends quotes :)
