Insurance

I viewed but didn't comment as I have never insured small dogs! :p Have used Tesco in the past and they were competitive premium wise for GSDs, and paid up on claim without a problem. Currently have a vets fees only policy with NFU linked to my household insurance.
 
virgin pet insurance. Been brilliant with my setter who must have cost them a fortune over the years - menigitis, bloat/torsion and sever gasto problems. Her premiums are still only £17. No probs paying out either
 
I use Petplan for Millie my JRT (actually for all my pets including lurcher, cat, horses & rabbit!)

its about £20 per month and its the covered for life cover (think they gave me 10% off plus i get a multi-pet discount) - I really rate the type of cover you get, as well as the brilliant service. I've only every claimed on horse insurance, and they were fantastic.
 
I had petplan for my 2 GSDs, pay out was fine. Only problem i had was canciling when Prince was PTS. I phoned them to say I needed to cancil and got 20 questions. Am now using helpucover.com Thy are not the cheepst but to only one who would insure me to take Inca to work. Customer srvices has been great but not needed to make a claim yet
