Where is the best place to go for insurance for my two youngsters, ive not found one yet i find suitable, i want them covered for all the usual things, and also for old age. alot stop at a cirtain age?

if it helps so far im considering pet plan. mainly because i have my dog insured with them too

I have my 18 year old insured with Petplan as they are the only ones that I have found will cover him for full vets fees up until his 25th birthday. I haven't had to make a claim so cant comment on how good they are at paying out.

I got a quote from Pet plan a few weeks ago for my youngster and they come out at a stupid price, more than im paying for my older show horse who's valued at 5 times the price!
Im with KBIS their cover is good and they have a good reputation, and they are reasonably priced.
Just don't go with E&L, they don't pay out apparently.

KBIS all the way they have been fab. My mum had her cob with E&L & they were awful at paying out so she switched to KBIS 7 we woudln't go with anyone else.

Funny enough i have just found them on google and done a quote and for them both its reasonably priced and all the cover i want and up to 30 years!

I am with Pet Plan and currently have my first claim going through as we speak!
They aren't the cheapest but they have a very good rep at paying out. So far everything needed to make my claim has been easy and my vets trust them a lot to pay out and have said they have no worries mine wont go through.

Fingers crossed all goes well as it is an expensive one
