i need to insure my horse i bought him 4 weeks ago so have to get it done as soon as possible. This is my first horse, i have looked on some insurance sites to decide who to go with. Do i need to get his history from his last vets, not sure how easy this would be? My horse was foot sore for a couple of days as he was unshod when i got him, will this mean his two back legs will not be insured for any lame type of conditions? Thanks in advance.

as above plus,dont touch e & l with a barge pole or horse-insurance.co.uk

would recommend amstrust,petplan,nfu.
would recommend 3rd party, vets fees and hospitalisation aswell.

these are needed, you can also have tack cover but unless theres only like 3 of you and they have specific locks on the tack room i wouldnt bother and take your tack home.

you dont need to tell them anything bought him being slightly lame because he didnt have shoes on.
