Anyone used animal friends? I have one of my dogs and two of my cats with direct line at the moment and they have just put my premium up to £40pcm although the animals have all been neutered since then and have made no claims.

Animal friends will insure them all with lifetime cover for £29?

Any good?

Their higher end policies are fine (the last two I think, must be lifetime cover) but their basic/budget policies are not worth the paper they are written on. I have one of mine with them and they've always paid out promptly without argument but they have a bit of a reputation at work as being very hard to extract money from. I would stick with Direct Line or stump up the extra £1-2 a month for Petplan. :)

I completely agree with what black cob has said, and I personally would avoid them. Im a veterinary nurse and we have serious problems with animal friends not wanting to pay out!

Ive had £9,000 off them for two different horses in same year no problem at all. The only thing that was a little irritating was the amount of forms I had to fill in with each bill they like new form.
