I desperately need to insure my 4 year old and I'm just wondering which companies people would suggest? He's not freeze marked and I'm a little unsure of the sun to insure as I bought him as an unbroken project last summer so this value would be very different now. He's not had and previous injuries or accidents, and he's a tb cross cob. I've had a couple of quotes but just want recommendations.

I'd recommend Shearwater. They are brokers so will always help you out to find the best deal. Saying that, I have just stopped insuring with them this year (after many years with them) as my horse is now 16 and the renewal is just too high. I was offered a cheaper external injury only policy but have decided to put the money in a savings account. I use the BHS for public liability insurance.

My daughter is with Petplan and they were the cheapest when she bought her 2 year old but now he is 4 she is going to shop around (although they did pay up promptly for sarcoids).
