Just had my renewal notice for Daisy’s insurance and it’s gone up to over £400. It’s with the Kennel Club. So, I think I’ll have a shop around.

Dunno, I am fed up-Fitz's (who's coming up 3yo) renewal with PP has gone up £100pa, he's only ever seen the vet for jags, his is a for life policy but its currently twice what I pay out for my pony! Expect Quarrie's will as well in the summer.

Yes Daisy’s is a life policy, which is what hikes the cost up.

£100 is mad though, MOC 😤

Check what your exclusions will be before you change would be my main advise. Insurance companies don't like risk and any new company won't pay out on work up or treatment of preexisting conditions. I think your girl has allergy issues so proceed with caution.

Mine with John Lewis went up from £800 to £1200 for my 9 yo greyhounds with no claims in the 4 years we have had her. We have given up with insurance and are putting the money to one side in case.

Just spoken to my insurers and got it reduced from last years price by about £80. Go figure....
