Do you accept the PIL included in your horse insurance, or do you go via the BHS gold member scheme??

I will save a little money but get 10m insurance rather than 2.5m... so is this a better option???

My Horse insurance has £10 million anyway. I used to do through BHS but never used any other benefit and the magazine was rubbish. I think it was cheaper through my Horse insurance as well. Oh....and.....if you let anyone else ride your Horse the BHS one doesn't cover that but your own Horse insurance does (well mine does anyway). I do wonder how many people don't know that. It covers you to ride any Horse....not anyone to ride your own.

I rarely let anyone ride him, I am too tight and he is too fragile

If he broke with anyone else I would never forgive myself

My horse insurance is only covering me for 2.5m

With NFU Mutual the only section you have to have in Loss of Animal - P.L is an optional extra charged as a flat rate. £2.5 million is the lowest offered any many people are happy. It can be increased for an additional premium. It also covers anyone riding, leading or driving the horse and if it escapes. It also covers named rides - usually policholder - to ride horses they do not own.
