I'm a fairly new rider (though confident at all paces) looking for an intensive riding holiday involving flatwork, sj and ideally xc to improve my riding as much as possible in a relatively short time. I'm hoping to find somewhere to go for 4-12 weeks (depending on cost) as a working holiday with as much riding as possible. I'm NOT looking for a sort of super-pony trek - I want to improve. Can anyone suggest somewhere, UK or abroad?

Thanks!

I've just been taught for a week by someone who has lessons at yorkshire riding centre, it's where Chris Bartle teaches. Would love to go there but it's so expensive since i don't own my own horse and it's an extra 20 quid to borrow one.

I went to Slieve Aughty in Ireland last year and loved it, we did a lot of hacking and a few xc and sj lessons but they do offer working holidays and can suit riding to whatever you want. They had an awesome xc course and the instruction was good. Also it is stunning around there, perfect for hacking through the woods with some really good xc style jumps throughout the whole forest. I would love to go back there, the people and food were amazing and they had lovely horses, most were ID x. I know i sound like i work there, but i just had a really great time!
