I'm a uni student... but also a freelance photographer- I stand in the middle of showing/sj rings and out on xc courses taking the photos for competitors. Love it (when it doesn't rain!)!!

I love my job! I'm an event photographer. This weekend I'm in Newcastle (I live in Essex) photographing a talent competition. It's good money (if you do it well) for what is often really fun work.

Obviously I prefer photographing the equestrian events but they aren't always the most lucrative so we only do them when there is nothing else on.

Aswell as covering events myself I also run the business as a whole and we have franchisees and freelance photographers working for us all over the country. I'm 21, straight out of uni last year and my Dad invested to help me set up the business! In a year it's grown beyond my wildest dreams. I'm working 7 days a week at the moment which isn't great but I know it'll be worth it in the long run when i have an established business and can pick and choose my hours.

Yep it's really good fun, and you pick up soooo many showing tips as I stand next to the judges so hear what they're saying

I'm a professional child wrestler, specialising in unbroken youngstgers needing a good start to their life.

Others may say I'm a reception teacher in a deprived area of Dewsbury ........

My horse is my therapist and puts my head back on right when the kids have unscrewed it!

I'm an RDA riding instructor - I teach physically disabled/learning dificulties children and adults to ride.

It's amazingly rewarding at times and most of the clients are fantastic. I was learning sign language from one of my little 5 year olds this morning and the mum was absolutely THRILLED that he was not only rembering his sign language but able to teach someone else. It was really exciting.

Hi Equinemad, Have you thought about Open University if you want to study and still have money?! There are loads and loads of different courses. I spent 15 yrs working full time with horses (event grooming) and towards the end of that did an Open Uni degree in the evenings/days off. It increased my confidence massively, and now I have a perfect 'horsey-office' job which I think gives the best of both worlds (also was getting a bit old for the early starts and all the travelling!!)
