interesting hack!

So as I have a week off thought me and Knobber horse would go for a nice relaxing hack... So much for relaxing as think every possible scary object was out & H is one of those horses who is scared of 2 things: those that move & those that don't!

We met:

-a disposed of, flapping slightly in the wind, TENT!
-sheep moving behind hedges
-cyclists suddenly appearing behind him
-birds taking off from trees
-a smashed up wardrobe at the side of the road
-bits of building material eg slate
-a pallet hidden behind a hedge

And most terrifying of all... A swan in a field

Plus it was windy!

But he did go past all of it (albeit sometimes sideways) so was pleased with him

Well done - certainly beats my last hack on my intermittent lunatic... got as far as riding out the yard, parallel to our fence when our dog greeted him. This would be the same dog who spends half the day in the paddock, "guarding" his horses. We did some interesting 360 spins off the grass into the road. Sheer terror kept me glued to the saddle, but I tell you I could see the whites of the eyes of the driver who thought we'd be broncing through her car.

I shudder to think what acrobatics would result from tents, cupboards and swans.
