Overnight last night offenders removed fencing to fields which contained horses at Green Lane, Cherry Willingham. Offenders have pulled a large chunk of hair from the mane of one horse and a plait from the mane of a cob also in the field. The horses were covered in dried sweat from running and it is believed offenders chased them around for quite some time in an effort to catch the horses. Although this attempt was unsuccessful they may return so please be vigilant if you see anyone paying attention to horses in this area at unusual times please call police immediately on 101. Two males were seen yesterday to drive across the ‘Bunny run’ which is a track which runs between Hawthorn Road and Fiskerton Road, at the side of the field where these horese are kept, in a navy blue Ford Fiesta and park in the corner of the field before leaving the area.
