Intermediate Novice BE

As I right in understanding this level is novice XC (1.10m), but 1.20 SJ. And how much harder are the dressage tests?

Plus, I assume you need to qualify for this as you would a normal intermediate (ie. 5 clears XC).
 
Im quite sure there is no need to qualify for an IN

And the dressage tests are on ER and EWW, it has turn on the haunches (see T_E post further down!) Can have shoulder in, leg yield etc.

And the XC is Novice BE height, dressage and SJing Intermediate height
 
I don't think any of the BE tests have leg-yield in them. As HJ says it's just any of the BE Intermediate tests and intermediate sj'ing. I think it is considered a Novice by BE in terms of qualification - ie. you don't need to have any!
 
I thought there was leg yield in some Intermediate tests! Whoops! There is def shoulder in though, try ER and EWW for the tests
 
Ok, thanks. Just had a look at the test Im thinking of doing and it has shoulder-in, extended canter, canter change through walk and extended walk. Otherwise not too bad, we dont do extended walk though.....! And it all has to be done in sitting which could be fun on my bouncy horse!

it'll prob. be medium canter, not extended canter??
also, Int. SJing is 1.25, IN SJing is 1.20, and novice is 1.15.. as said above, XC is over normal novice track..

also, never heard of having to do 'leg yield' in any dressage test!! it's just a training aid for at home.
