Looking to build some stables in a barn and have had quotes from Redmire and Vale anyone used them and if so where the stables good quality or can anyone recommend a Company in the Midlands ? Thanks

We recently used a company called equi stable to adapt our garages (that were once stables) into stables. They've done a good job for us - though we've had to keep after them on some snagging.

We had ours built from breeze block, much more economical and far less maintenance, a local builder was half the price of 'equestrian' companies!! We breeze block built the intenal partitions too.

We built some from breeze blocks in the brick barn and has worked well but when I got a price of the same builder for blocks on the wooden /concrete barn it works out more expensive !! hence going with wooden and grills saves about a £1000.00
