International Velvet - Is there anyone who can record TCM June 19th?!!

Well my alltime favourite childhood movie is on TCM 19 June 8.50am. Is there anyone who a) has access to view that channel b) who can DVD record it for me? Happy to pay £15inclp&p to anyone who can record and send me a copy. Please pm me if happy to do so, and I'll send my address etc. x

because its a film and nothing like real life! Pity because i'm sure I would have been to the Olympics by now, I've jumped a clear round before lol

Love the film though. I was on holiday in Los Angeles staying with friends two years ago and we went to other friends who lived on the beach in Malibu (oh how the other half live!). A golden retriever ran into the house from the beach and a lady came and got him, I was told later that the lady was Tatum Oneal (who plays Sarah Brown in the film) - I was mortified as she is my child idol and I didnt pay much attention when she came got her bl***dy dog!

OMG VictoriaEDT I cant believe you didnt fall at her feet. I idolised her. That film gets me every time and I cant WAIT to see it again. Husbands enthusiasm seriously lacking, he just cant understand the fascination. The car/horse chase has me on the edge of my seat every time.

Eagle Rock, Bar Hammonds old event horse is in that film being ridden by stuart Stevens

It's been running for weeks now. I watched it the other night and sat blubbering like an idiot.

Wohoo!!! EEk, collides with my husbands flight getting in to Gatwick after being away for 4 months. Uh oh, deliberations!!! x Must record, must record.........

Just checked TCM webiste and National Velvet is on 1/6 at 12.40 & International Velvet is on 19/6 at 8.50, I'll have to set the sky plus thing up to record them both

Honestly I think thats why my mother didnt tell me at the time for fear of embarrassment if I did drop to the floor and start idolising all over again! I wouldnt say she was old but def in her 40s.

As a kid I was traumatised by the bit on the plane!!!!!
