Hey im new on here so hello everyone!

I need a bit of advice, in July i am doing my 1st British event Intro. I have done unafilliated One day events, and we have done good in them.
i just need advice, like hints and tips! as the jumps will be bigger etc.
Thank you.

Might be worth going to watch at an event with an intro running. That way you can walk the XC course and see the SJ etc. to see what to expect. Then if there's something you find scary then you can practice it at home before your event in July.

Basically the only difference really is that the SJ spreads are a little wider (like rubyred said) but still usually very simple and inviting, they usually flow better than a BSJA course. XC courses are usually much better built than at unaffiliated. Intro's are designed for baby horses so they're kept nice and encouraging. GL!

If you are jumping 3 ft one day events you will be plesantly surprised by the intro they are so much better built and more inviting. The only thing you may find is they like to put flowers in a lot of the XC jumps and teddies etc which you dont tend to get some much round me unaffiliated. I did my first intro last year and am hooked now.
The others are right the spreads tend to be bigger than at unaffiliated and at BSJA but they are really inviting normally, but do expect triple bars in the SJ.
Good Luck
you will love it
