Intro Championships

I have just been looking at events and in the qulaifiesrs section there is no mention of qualifiing for intro champs - i am pursuming that you automatically qulaify when you win an intro?

No, there are regional rounds- you have to be placed 1st-4th (I think) in an intro and then finish in the top 25% at a regional qualifier to go to the finals.

how does it work in scotland, is it different, i am rather confused now! Help BOSS?!!?

The intro champs are run by BE so would include scottish qaulifiers, I have no idea whether Scotand has its own champs I'm afraid.....
I have to say that whist the prizes are impressive, the series seems a bit of a waste of time to me. We had a horse at the PN champs and the whole affair was trying hard to be special but failed!!

Thanks Boss, I am just looking into it, if i do stick at dressage i want to put him in a few intros but not just for fun so to speak so just think what aims i coudl have to put him inot be intro

Scotlands regionals are at strathallan along with the Pre-Novice

yeah, then if your in the top 25% at Strathallan then you can go to the Finals down in England somewhere.

MM, so what is that intro hamps at Hendersyde?

Hendersyde was the 2006 Scottish Intro champs this year. 2005 Intro champs were held at Strathallan.

I did the Intro regional at Oatridge this year, having got into that by being placed in top 4 at Intro in previous events. Top 25% then qualified from this for UK Intro Champs.
