Probably a bit of a numpty alert here....so apologies in advance.
I am not a jumper, with my previous mare we did a couple of clear rounds, had maybe a handful of jumping lessons in days when dinosaurs walked the earth
and we were always happy pop a log out hacking....so really no experience at all.
The newish horse , 6 yrs old, but a little backwards in her education, has been working on her flat work and hacking and has finally got a far more positive attitude to work.
We have done lunging over poles, walked and trotted under saddle and earlier this week, a friend set up the tiniest cross pole in the world and the mare happily trotted over it and seemed very keen, in a good way.
So, any ideas for how we continue this, develop it.
A lovely friend, good BS rider is happy to do the more technical stuff, but I would like to do some of the work myself.
Thanks in advance
