Say hello to Darby. We picked her up on Friday, she's settling in very well with Xara & Blue. She's certainly a confident little puppy, not intimidated by the others at all:

From Dechsline GSDs, small breeder but lovely, lovely people.

Sire : Tramella Natz Vom Agios (Agios GSDs), (VA Quenn vom Loher Weg) people I've known for a while & I love her dogs and love her breeding ethics.

Dam : Fanta Vom Amulree (Dechsline), (VA Ilbo vom Holtkamper See).

It was a tough decision because they had a litter due from a Zamp V Thermodos daughter who I totally fell in love with (although weren't born when I went to look at Darby) but I went with Fanta puppies because the hip scores for at least 4 generations on these two are superb and I'm a bit paranoid about hips now.

Being totally honest I know nothing about the above bloodlines and have gone purely on the fact that I really like the breeders of both dogs Natz & Fanta.

I'm so pleased with my 2 accepting her. Blue was a bit full on the first day she came but has calmed down now, Xara is very gentle with her, so hopefully all will work out well. I definitely think she can hold her own anyway.

I am absolutely shattered though since Friday, think I will be in bed by 8 tonight!!

Shame you didn't have one from the Zamp daughter, it would have been Evie's cousin

Certainly good lines there with Tramella and Amulree. Totally agree with you about going with a small breeder with the right ethics, thats why I went where I did with for my monster, although time will tell with her hips. I know her bitch line back a long, long way, and sire line is good, but being a cynic I think sometimes bad scores can be hidden in Germany

Anyway, all the best with Darby, hope you are going to keep us supplied with plenty of pics.

Aw, she is a sweetie, and I love the name, always have done, Derby v Adeloga is one of my all-time favourites!

The Andersons (Amulree) have a litter sister of my two.

Hope you have lots of fun with her!
