Introducing horse to summer grazing

Should I turn out for just a few hours a day and gradually increase it?

I have him 3 hours yesterday then put him back into the winter field. We have 24/7 TO so wondering how many days I should take to give him full access to the grass?

Just assuming this is the right thing to do to avoid an upset tummy?

Yes to the few hours and slowly increase..its what I’d do if I had separate season grazing.

This is what i'm hoping to use the bank holiday weekend for, it's expected on our yard that we do it however they seem to forget that some people work full time!
