Introducing me and the wolfboy

Hi guys I've been reading this part of the forum for a while. I thought it might be time to introduce me and the wolfchild I spend my time with.
This is my 1/2 husky 1/2 lab boy Bailey

And this is what he spends 90% of his time doing

And this was him a couple of days after he arrived

He'll be three in April .

Mum was a grey and white husky, dad was the most beautiful black lab I have ever laid my eyes on. Mum sadly died at birth and 7 puppies were hand reared, all survived and are all thriving. Amazing really as human mum and dad had a 2yo and a 2 week old baby as well.

Lovely looking lad, and fair play to his breeders for hand rearing the litter. I suppose they were up through the night anyway with a 2 week old baby.

I must admit I did think the same that does not look like a sibe coat at all far too soft

If I hadn't seen the breeding I would have said collie cross but thought maybe you could get long coat sibes?

You can get woolly sibes but I too wouldn't expect it to express like that. Lovely dog regardless.

I agree, wooly sibes have a different sort of coat - not long and 'shaggy'

A long coated pup would look more cotton wooly almost like a cloud
