I'm new here and currently owned by 3 beautiful pointers, I thought I'd better introduce them!

Tilly is 6 years old and was our first pointer, she's lovely very serene and placid, loves sleeping on the bed, under the duvet with her head on a pillow! Out in the field she is a bird hunting machine though, unfortunately for us she is rather unwilling to work with her handler when she gets a scent which has caused a few hairy moments when she's disappeared over the horizon!!!

I have shown Tilly a few times but to be honest, she hates going in the ring so there is not much point putting her through it!

Then there is Lola, 5 years old and half sister to Tilly. She is my Husbands dog and his number 1 fan! They are off up to Scotland next month for a weeks field trial training. She is a lovely girl but can be a grumpy old bitch at times!

Then there is Fifi, she was 1 in October. Fifi and I have been having some fun showing these past few months and she has exceeded my expectations already with her success!! She's a wonderful girl to have around, hopefully we will be trialling her as well as Lola. She qualified for 2011 Crufts at her first show and has gone on to qualify many times over!

Fingers crossed we will be having puppies from her in 2012.

They are absolutely lovely looking dogs aren't they?!
Thanks for the info. I tried this way but still not working.....see my thread 'bolting?'. Let me know if you can see the pics.
So when are you hoping to get a horse?

What lovely girls they are! I absolutely love pointers (English and German) and there is a B&W one mine play with called Lottie who looks like your girl in 1st pic. She is potty and has no control over what her legs do! :D

Thanks guys!

I'm 33, 34 in March and have promised myself that I'll have a horse by the time I'm 35!!

It is a dream of mine to breed a dual purpose pointer, show champ and field trial champ, but the intermidiate aim is to qualify a dog for the field trial class at a dog show. To do that you have to have won a placing or certificate of merit in a field trial.

Mollichop, I'll cut your tongue off if you mention English pointer again!!!!! LOL;) They are "just" pointers, no matter what anyone says!!!! I too like GSP's as well, a friend of mine has two gorgeous liver ones!

Lovely dogs and they are so clean :)

Although not white my dogs are full of mud most of the time and not bred well enough for the show ring lol but my little female one is also called Tilly :)

LOL! They take great delight in getting filthy! Luckily, having such short coats all they really need is a towel down and they look almost sparkling again!

Tilly is such a lovely name isn't it!

Lovely dogs. We had a GWP called Tilly when I was small.

Do you mind me asking which kennel they come from? Just being nosey cos I know (or rather my mum does lol) a few Pointer breeders :D

They are lovely! A colleague of mine used to have a Pointer, he was a really nice lad - and HUGE;) Yours look a bit more ladylike:D
