Hi, I'm a long time lurker but have finally decided to create an account and introduce myself :)
I'm Carley and I have owned my horse, Foxy, for 5 weeks now. She is a 14 year old, 16.3hh dutch warmblood, she is my first horse (although I have ridden since I was 6 and have loaned a couple of horses in the past).

Here are the pictures anyway, because I know everyone loves pictures :cool:;

Thank you :) She really is sweet. And yes, she was smart enough to walk all the way to the field backwards in protest the other day because it was raining :o
Funny how you go out looking for a hardy 14.2-15hh cobby type and come home with a huge warmblood that can't bear to get her feet wet...
 
Welcome to the forum :) She is lovely!

For my first horse I went out looking for a 16hh + show cob type, age 7-12, dead sensible, been there done that kind of thing.

Came back with a barely 15hh 4 year old ex racer :D She did grow to 15.3 (with shoes;))
 
Hello :) I like that polo shirt - the joules one with the velvety sleeves - I wanted one but the fit and my body shape just didn't work so I'm very jealous :( (Gosh that makes me sound peculiar).

Your horse is also lovely :D

I bought my first horse recently too :) I went out looking for a 7-10yo Irish Draught and came back with a VERY high maintainance 5yo ex-racer!! :confused:

She look's lovely :)
 
Welcome ! Foxy is gorgeous - luv the cheesy grin on your face in the pics - everytime I get a photo of me on Dex I am grinning like a loon !

These peeps on the forum are a fab source of info !
