We moved yards 2 months ago and have had a herd of 7 - mares and geldings - living together with little trouble. A new gelding arrived this week and has met the others over the fence etc without any issues (apart from my 6 year old maredeveloping a crush, bless her). We put him in the field this morning and 6 of the existing horses were supremely unbothered. 1 gelding however has kicked now horse, been retaliated upon and will not let any of the herd stay still. No serious injuries but I am stressed! Think the only solution is to 'let them sort it our' whilst booting and rugging to avoid to many injuries - views please
