She is 11 weeks old and off to the vet this afternoon.

That rat was killed quickly and humanely:D isnt she adorable.

Darcy is very good with her, Diesel a bit bemused but very careful introduction and never unsupervised.

Oh she is gorgeous. Now, if everyone could kindly convince MurphysMinder that our family needs a heeler puppy too!

Do you think she looks at your big dogs and thinks "dat iz what i iz gunna be whne iz iz a growed up"

Do you only "do" black and tan? :)

Yes Lexie we do think that and also she might start fights with big dogs and run back to big sis & bro and let them sort it.:D

Ahaha- yeah, over the park Pip all brave "woffy woof woof" other dog goes to chase her turns round and is confronted not by one terrier but 2 hulking great Dobes, with mini dobe chuckling away behind them!!!

She is adorable dobiegirl (but the rat is scary!). I would like to make it clear that I will not bow down to all this pressure to have another heeler, and we are definitely only going to see pups on Saturday to pass the time, there is no chance one will be coming home with us. :D:rolleyes:

Thank you all for your lovely replies.

Pip was beautifully behaved at the vets and never murmered when injected but Heelers are tough little dogs.

MM we will be able to compare notes, my daughter and her boyfriend dont want children so this little dog is the grandchild I will never have:eek:.Where are you going for your puppy? pm if you like. Isnt it exciting.:D

We are going to Leominster, the litter is advertised on the heeler website you recommended. Parents eye tested, litter DNA tested etc, funnily enough the dam is called Darcey. ;)

Don't mention names, we're going in circles, every time one of us suggests something the other 2 veto it, could be called " hey you" for a while I reckon. Actually they are currently called Henry and Archie by the breeder, but there is definitely only one Henry in AAD and whilst I quite like Archie M88 doesn't and apparently pup is going to be her "vet dog" that travels in the car with her, that of course is when she gets back from her travels and I have trained the pup.
