Hi all
My section b welsh is 3 now and looking and starting to back etc and further his education. He is a VERY keen learner. He started his ‘in hand’ education very late in life as he was a rescue , but he’s doing fab. He has been out on roads (in hand in headcollar) on his own and happily leaves his pals in the field and seen different traffic etc.
He is a fab and clever boy but gets bored easily , he doesn’t like faffing.... he is a very much straight to the point kind of pony... which is fab for me and suits me fine !!!
I know there is no right / wrong way of breaking a horse .... but idea are welcome? I haven’t put a bit in him yet , advice needed on that?
I also am not a fan of long reining .... something I don’t feel I’m good at , lol!
Ideas and advice welcome
regards
