We had a gorgeous bay colt foal born on the 6th April and finally got him out to our sand arena last weekend (although it was very wet after a lot of rain and snow, we have never seen our arena so wet
). So this was him at 6 days old..
He is by Rotspon and out of our Prince Thatch x Wenzel I Hanoverian mare (who was supporting a cut leg). He has such a fabulous temperament and you can do anything with him.
I would definately rate Rotspon for temperament, its just fantastic!
Believe it or not, this is his canter.
We are "hoping" to get him outside again this weekend, and its much much drier now. We have not been able to get the horses out much at all as our fields are so wet. We are hoping for some dry days so that we can get going with them all.
