I'm very pleased to introduce to the forum, my new little best friend, Tallulah Pumpkinface (Lulah for short)

She is now 11 1/2 weeks old, (I've owned her 2 1/2 weeks) Mum was a lovely rough coated tan and white Jack Russell terrier (who I met) her dad, a Shih Tzu. However, she's looking more and more like a Border Terrier everyday. I'm not bothered either way, she's a little darling and I love her to bits already. (I do hope I've got the hang of this photo uploading malarkey)

Please someone help, I've opened a photobucket account, uploaded 10 photos, put them in an album, copied the IM link but once on HHO can't paste the link (faded out). Downloaded album but god knows where. Where am I going sooo wrong?

Sorry I can't help, I struggle for ages every time I put a picture on here. Then the next time I want to do it I have forgotten how! I was chuffed last night because I uploaded an avatar by trial and error.

Cute pup! That link takes you to the album. If you want to share specific pictures you need to copy the "direct" code from Share - Get Links.

Then type (without the spaces) [ img ] paste the link then [ /img ] et voilà

Lovely, pup I'm jealous I would love a terrier pup. I can't have one as I have a three legged EBT who had had a crappy life and has poor social skills bless him :-/

She is the image of a friends childhood dog. Mum was a rough coated stocky JRT who sneaked off one day (it was a farm with free range dogs). A number or weeks later she disappeared again and was found having nested in the back of the shrubbery with a single new born pup. He was called Brundle because he was a brown bundle. As he grew it became obvious that his dad was probably the Shih Tzu who lived down the road.

He was a fab little dog with loads of character, he main talent was stealing and hiding every piece of tack cleaning sponge in existence.

Bumped, Just so I can share her with some more folks on the forum...

What a little snuffle!

Snuffle...what a lovely description E :)

'Snuffle', a good word! That is a delightful pup. Possibly a 'horror' in the making, but for now, she's scrumptious!
I love the name Tallulah, it points me in mind of Ms. Bankhead, yet another horror! :)
Alec.

Not just possibly in the making A, she's a little horror already! with a set of teeth that could shame a Piranha. Currently, we are at the 'anything and everything is fair game' stage.

As her character evolves, I can see no evidence of her mother being anywhere in the vicinity of a Shih Tzu during conception. The prominent side of her is all Terrier, or should that be Terror?

She has proved herself very friendly and outgoing with all dogs, (both large and small) as well as humans, met so far, being forward but smart enough to know when to show a submissive tummy.

Within the last 2 weeks she has proved to be completely gunfire proof, due to us living on an arable farm surrounded by gas powered pigeon scarers. Any farm machinery, heavy lorries, tractors and the general town traffic, hasn't fazed her in the least. All this could of course, be a very worrying sign...;)

Judging by her 'front' and the bite aspect of her jaw, I don't think that there's any doubt who Daddy is!

The wonderful Tallulah Bankhead was something of a free spirit and with a mind of her own. You may find that she's aptly named and perhaps end up wishing that you'd called her Daisy! :) She's a bonny wee thing, no question of that. :wink3:

Alec.

Click on whatever photo you want, then copy the last link on the right, with img to the left. Paste it into the post. She's adorable!

Thanks everyone, I certainly concur that despite her angelic cuteness, she has all the hallmarks of becoming an out and out terrierist and I've certainly got my work cut out with the little tyke.

Puppy training classes are starting in a couple of weeks...should be fun? I'll let you know how we get on (or not, as the case may be)

Alec, I had to look up Tallulah Bankhead on the net and watch some youtube clips as I'd not heard of her before, though can't think why!.. I particularly liked this quote from her- (on seeing a former lover for the first time in years) "I thought I told you to wait in the car" :D

Pup is working on her canine sense of humour daily and has most definitely, a mind of her own...
