Hello
Does anyone have any experience of this? My vet has just come out today to reassess my horse with arthritis of coffin joints, and he has said when he comes back in 6 weeks time, that we could consider IRAP, rather than another injection of steroids into the joint. Does anyone know if it works? Or if he is getting excited over it cos it's new?!? thanks

no neither had I!! Something to do with taking blood out, doing something to it, and then putting it back in again (probably a bit more to it than that but you get the idea!)

My horse had this treatment in April this year. As far as we know he is still the only horse in the country to have had the treatment in the shoulder joint (so far). He had a lesion debrided from the deltoid cavity withint he joint.

It has been a resounding success
