No future job in the police for an Iraq vet....he has a tattoo on his arm that has a hate design and might make criminals unhappy....what hate crime symbol does he have on his arm? "England"....he actually is so hate filled and racist he actually has "England" on his arm!

Manchester knows better how to deal with racists who dare to use that name in an offensive way.

Anyone else surprised?

If he was applying to be an officer in the Army, he may well find himself excluded as well on the grounds of a tattoo. Officially, provided they are not on the neck or head they are permissable, as long as they are not construed as offensive. However, officers, which he would be as a vet, are rather discouraged from having any tattoo - not least because if captured, a severed arm with an identifiable tattoo on it makes one heck of a note back home for the bad guys. Heck, that story, true or not, was quite enough to get rid of any ideas I might have had about a late night trip to a tattoo parlour!
