Had a lovely lady called Catherine come up to the yard on Saturday to do Iridology on a few horses, it was so interesting!
Had my mare looked at and alot of the things she said backed up what my back lady has said.
She has told me most of her problems has to do with her spleen which is very inflammed which is why she doesnt track up on her left hind and keeps getting tight just behind her saddle.
She also said she has a sugar intolerance and under no circumstances to give her any kind of mollasses, mix or haylage.
She has picked up on the same very old injury that my back lady has picked up on and also scar tissue on her pole which might be why she is so funny about her ears being touched.
She gave me a list of herbs and stuff that will help her, and I have to give her some detox herbs for her spleen for 6 weeks cant remember the name of them as left sheet up yard!!
It will be intersting to see how she goes after the 6 weeks x.

We are due to have a lecture presentation on this and I am sure the person is also called Catherine. Was she from New Market? It is really interesting to hear your story, I have never actually known anyone to have used Iridology before but I find it extremely fascinating!
Thanks for posting and good luck for the next 6 weeks

it is very interesting, i studied it a bit a few years ago, enough to be able to tell things about my own horses. stress lines, impactions building up, kidney problems, etc show up very clearly allegedly.
Ellen Collinson (who does excellent herbs as well as Iridology) came out to my horses a day after my McTimoney Chiro, and they both said exactly the same things about particular horses, their diagnoses tallied perfectly, which really impressed me.
it is interesting to read about in in people too.

Her surname is Edwards and she comes from Guildford. She trained with Ellen Collinson and thats where she gets her herbs from. The detox herbs which will last me 6 weeks is gonna cost £81:0. Thankgod she will only need one tub. I will give an update if there is an improvement x.
